Hi, I’m Jen.

I come alongside families, as a physical therapist, to provide them with education about gross motor development and mobility — and to guide them in facilitating opportunities for their babies to move and develop motor skills — which leads to opportunities for participation, learning, exploration, and discovery!

My mission is to guide parents toward becoming confident creators of intentional & meaningful movement opportunities for their babies.

Each movement of your baby’s body brings in a rich flow of information — creating an intricate, dynamic, web of connections in their brain. The result is the development of purposeful, intentional, and meaningful gross motor skills.

Dr. Jennifer Gaewsky, PT, DPT.

Doctor of Physical Therapy

I studied physical therapy at the University of Hartford in Connecticut, and graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. As a student, I grew increasingly interested in studying neurophysiology, physics of the human body, and the development and acquisition of gross motor skills during infancy. While completing my final clinical rotation at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, I fell in love with serving families and young children.

In 2013, I made my way to Austin, Texas, where I’ve practiced as a Texas licensed physical therapist in pediatric clinic and home health settings. Over the years, I’ve honed a skillful awareness and understanding of infant gross motor development. A focus on creating rich, movement-based, learning experiences for babies sets me apart as a therapist. Excellent pediatric physical therapy begins with keen observation and listening skills, patience, and creativity — all areas where I am continually striving to grow.
